Advanced Conversations for Leaders

Saturday, April 4th, 1:40pm - 2:25pm - Strategy Sessions

Join other experienced building and district leaders for an edcamp-style session to share successes, lessons learned, and ongoing challenges. Participants will partner for active discussions based on common interests. Throughout conversations, participants will swap resources and links in a shared group document.

Sarah M. Rich
Sarah was a founding faculty member and teacher for 17 years at Paul Cuffee School in Providence, Rhode Island. She graduated from the Highlander Institute’s Fuse RI Fellowship Program, cohort 1. Sarah coaches teachers and works with administration internationally, making blended personalized learning available to schools. Her strengths include classroom and school redesign, advising school administration, management in a 21st-century classroom, parent engagement, and data analysis. She was a Golden Apple 2016 recipient for her work with parent engagement in a blended learning classroom. Sarah was the founding teacher at Squiggle Park, helping to design bite-sized literacy games for children and has also worked closely with other edtech companies. She is now self-employed and works as a blended personalized learning consultant. She believes students should be empowered as learners and be the captains of their learning adventure. Sarah worked closely with Warwick School District kindergarten through twelfth grade 2014-2016. During the 2017-2019 school year, she worked with Providence Portsmouth Public Schools. Currently, her most significant contracts are with ASU Preparatory Academy in Arizona. She is working with administrators, educators, and training coaches to implement blended personalized learning successfully.
