Empowering Educator Agency through Personalized Professional Learning

9:45am - 11:00am - Session I

Our interactive workshop offers participants the opportunity to become creative, pedagogical problem-solvers. Each participant will take a quick goal-setting survey to determine one or more problems of practice to address in the workshop. Survey results will enable each participant to build a personalized playlist and stations will support real-time personalized coaching in the areas of culture, teacher capacity, learning, and tools. Throughout the experience, participants will build an understanding of different tools, instructional methods, and elements of positive learning environments. We will offer a range of options from entry-level to a more advanced practitioner level. Participants will learn about how this type of personalized professional learning has positively impacted one district in Maryland and leave the workshops with artifacts they can use for immediate implementation in their classrooms.
