Increasing Student Voice & Collaboration

9:45am - 11:00am - Session I

Come explore tools and techniques for increasing student voice and collaboration. Using math content as the instructional lens, teachers will participate in a variety of online and offline collaborative activities that increase student dialogue and voice in the classroom – and discuss how these teaching methods can be adapted for different classrooms and content areas. Participants will leave with concrete ideas to try in their classrooms.

Raymond Steinmetz
Raymond Steinmetz is a Math Interventionist in Tiverton, Rhode Island and the founder of the Blended Learning Network. He is a TeachPlus Rhode Island Policy Fellow and writes about education and parenting for several online and print publications. Raymond is also the co-host of the Instant Relevance Podcast and the moderator of the weekly #edchatRI Twitter chat.
