TRANSPORTATION
The closest airport to the conference venue is TF Green Airport in Warwick, RI (PVD), which is approximately 10 miles (15 minutes) from downtown Providence. Estimated taxi fare from TF Green to the Providence Omni is $25 - $30 one way, UBER and Lyft prices are between $10 - $20, depending on time of day.
In some cases, flying into Boston's Logan Airport may be a better option. The MBTA Commuter Rail runs between Logan and Providence Amtrak Station. The commute is approximately 90 minutes, costs $11, and involves taking the silver line bus from Logan to South Station and then a commuter train to Providence Station. You can determine if the MBTA schedule aligns with flights by using the MBTA Trip Planner. Several Peter Pan Bus Company buses run each day from Logan to Downtown Providence for approximately $25 each way. Alternately, make arrangements with Ultimate Livery Shuttle for door to door service from your Logan terminal to the RI Convention Center for approximately $150 each way.
The closest train station to the conference is the Providence Amtrak station, which is an 8 minute walk from the Providence Omni (event hotel) and the RI Convention Center (event venue).
